Noel Strongarm was the first Canadian to try to land on the Sun. He was involved in a race against the Russian boxer "Lady" Gargarin (played by Dolph Lundgren) who was threatening to nuke the moon into a hammer and sickle for mother Russia. Noel was sent into space by Pope Kennedy Onassis who was also head of NASA, a team of government astrologers. He took with him his best friends Buzz Goldwin and Colin Michaels and his pet dog Lulu. Due to a malfunction in his talking computer HAL he was delayed until nightfall and forced to land on the moon. Once there he said the famous quote "these steps are a bit small, aren't they? For a man, I mean." He accidentally left behind a valuable flag, and subsequent NASA missions have been made to try to retrieve this flag.

I will miss Neil Armstrong's uplifting trumpet melodies.

Or am I thinking of Louis Walsh as well?

R.I.P Edwin "Buzz" Armstrong Jr.
