I do the lip-skin biting thing, usually when i'm anxious or bored. I also eat scabs (my own!) and ... some other things, too ...

Some of your posts baffle me, i wish you would give a little more detail - is it anything interesting?

Either way, hope it goes well.

I really wish i was more assertive, too many of my woes are down to being 'easy going' i.e. a pushover Dad's ****ing about with 20lbs of unspun honey that he's gonna put in his new spinning machine, just to demonstrate to his gf how it's done. He's decided to setup in the same room as me even though i've made strong hints to do it elsewhere, yet he's still going ahead with it. Thing is, she isn't interested: the time it takes to do it and the end result .. well, let's just say the 'wow' factors gonna be pretty small. ****ing dick. It's not even electric, so it's gonna take some time

This is spinning honey, if anyones interested:

.. It's gonna take ages, and it's not entertaining in the slightest.

It's strange when people seem to like me. I see myself as such a worthless piece of shit. You like me? What? Why? You might as well mistake me for the bob sleigh gold medalist from the 1986 winter olympics. No that wasn't me and I'm not the likeable person you seem to think I am, I'm a terrible human being and I'll only end up disappointing you. I have problems making friends for some reason.

Man, i'm feeling foggy.

Worried about my parents again. The family dinner didn't take place cos of a organisational balls-up. Mum wasn't gonna attend anyway cos she was 'running' I don't believe i've ever seen or known her to run... ever. So it fell on me to cook and i ummed and arred about not having enough time, but maybe i would. Then i decided around 12ish today that i would cook something, so i sent out text msgs to say so, etc. I bought ingredients and cooked it up, set it off in the slow cooker... and then my brother (and his family) said they had other plans already. Other plans being that his other half had got some chicken out to defrost... -_________-

I sense that my Dad's frustrated at times, he seems restless when alone. We don't sit in each others company - we don't even eat together - it's bloody weird, but i'm used to spending time in my own company and i believe he struggles. I just don't think being alone, especially of an evening, fits very well into his image of who he thinks he is .. maybe.

As someone who only recently turned thirty, it makes me feel young.

I'm only a month into my thirties so I get to strut about in this thread all cocksure and full of youth.

See me strut. See me get gammy shins and go for a sit down.

The Joy of a CT scan tomorrow.
Don't mind the scan as such but radiology is packed in the morning. :/ I used to get called for evening appointments, which from a sa point of view is fab. X-ray is shut and there's usually just a few ppl waiting for the CT/MRI scanners in an empty dept. Instead I'll have to battle for a seat, then in the 2nd waiting area loiter in a hospital gown whilst (so far in my experience) everyone else is still in there own clothes and just having one thing scanned. It doesn't half make you feel self conscious

Joy of drinking 'contrast' and then getting hit by more intravenously. I shouldn't moan all things considered. And I'm glad to be having one in reality. Still it's sad?/depressing?/tiring? going on your own, when everyone (having lesser scans usually) are always with someone. Hey ho....

^Yeah I thought about cancelling mine :/ as they only gave me 3 days notice ( yet it was requested by my consultant/team last bloody year for this June ) I had come to the conclusion they'd changed there minds, so was taken by surprise by the letter.

Ye. Contrast is grim. For me it's like drinking a pint of crushed paracetemol. I get that and then stronger IV stuff an hour later rather than the next day.
Lol, no, it is pleasant as it courses round!
The nurses/radiographers always warn about it, which always makes me think they've never actually experienced it themselves....

Ye I bet they do too. They look far to happy for their own good!
Sounds horrible. I've never felt ill having a scan thankfully. *famous last words*. Mine's only for surveillance now, (hopefully that's how it'll remain too).

google naked dancing.... no course I won't

Thanks yeah it was fine. I was lucky I had a really nice Aussie radiographer, though he was fairly quick too.
Yeah I know what you mean. It would be nice to have some company for these things. I always have to do them on my own.

Hope your scan outcome is good. My consultant usually writes to me as I don't have a check up appointment till August. So just have to wait....

I'm thinking we should all get together. I'm good at putting people at ease and never judge. I know there's the meet up section but I was thinking more casual, 2 or 3 people going on a trip or just hanging out for a while ***55357;***56842;

Hope you're OK. I should have got up and gone to work ages ago. I'm going to have to take the morning off now retrospectively. So much for 20th anniversary parties! Oops! I managed to pull my curtains down last night too... Oh dear! Alcohol...

To be honest i can not put my finger on it, why do i keep on feeling the way i do. I have never been a very emotional person but recently my emotions seem to be all over the place.

I have a lot of things to be thankful for but i just feel lonely, emotional and and just want to be happy

Please do not quote this x
