Default Pictires way too big.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask...

But why do any pictures that I post come out so embarrassingly huge?

(Also, if I was to post a picture of my ugly mug I***8217;d want it to be tiny not fill up the whole screen )

I***8217;m not very technically minded so any very simple advice on how I could resolve this problem would be very gratefully received. Thanks

What image hosting are you using?

I use Imgur and they were appearing pretty large when selecting original size. Simply select Huge Thumbnail and they come in at a much better viewing size.

I often resize mine using paint before uploading to image host (villagephotos for me).

- I'm fairly low tech minded mind you.

I use pixlr on my phone for resizing as it always gives you resizing options when you hit save and it saves the resized pic into the pixlr folder so it's easy to find and you don't lose the original.

Making the width around 500 is a good size for the forum.
