Oh, Queen Violet, I have just severed my arm at the shoulder in order to provide you with a "baton" with which to swat away unruly insects and rebellious minor animals. I don't actually know whether you need a "baton" to perform such actions, but life is ebbing, and my viewpoint has gone all funny, blood is spewing most readily, and it seems somehow appropriate. I just saw an angel, angels.
