Yeah, another newb...
Hi everyone,
I finally decided to post. I'm in my 40s (old!) and only been aware that I have SA since my early 30s. Before then I think I just avoided thinking too much about it. I think maybe SA wasn't so well-known or discussed? I got online around 2001 and discovered that there were people like me. It was a bit of a revelation! The reason I'm joining now is that I'm sort of coming to the conclusion that it isn't going to 'go away'. So I may as well just accept it, and try and get on with my life the best that I can. So... I am here to maybe learn a few things, maybe help others if I can. But mostly it's because I fancy being in a place where I can talk about this openly (which I can't do anywhere else, because I've somehow managed to hide it from most people I know!). Thanks for reading Cheers Moorsman |

Re: Yeah, another newb...
Hi. Broadly the same except that SA was completely unknown to me until a few months ago.

Re: Yeah, another newb...
Aye, access to information via the internet really helped me understand things about myself, and discovering this place made things a lot clearer
