How often do you shower, bath or wash?

I shower once a day..and I usually have a bath now and then, like tonight when I had a shave, for instance.

Normally i'll awake at whatever time it may be..do whatever..go online more than likely..then go in the shower maybe 3-6hrs after waking up. I want to change this though..as I think my skin will benefit from two showers a day. Just light quick showers to refresh..maybe 5-10mins.

Im going to start showering as soon as I awake, which will be no later than 12pm. Then have another shower about 8-9pm. Yeah there is only an 8-9hr gap between showering..but I believe my skin will benefit from the late shower..as it will be refreshed not too long before im ready for sleeping.

So how about you?

You must be dirty and sweaty people if you have to shower twice a day. Every other day for me, i've not showered for 3 whole days before and I didnt stink or develop a disease or look dirty.

If your not sweating or getting dirty, twice a day is excessive.

Lol im not dirty Warmer at least I dont think I am . The night shower would just be to refresh my skin (face) before I sleep...and the morning shower is just like getting washed really..though instead of just washing your face..you are quickly rinsing your whole body.

I have a bath every morning to easy myself into the day, and on work days I have one when I get back, too. Not very eco-friendly, but I love it.

Im not sure about females..but any man who goes a week without washing..his pits are gona start smelling..no doubt. Even if it is better for our skin or whatever (which in my case I dont think it is anyways)..i cant see how people would walk around stinking..in return for a supposidly healthier part of our lifestyle. lol

Even if we didnt smell after several days of not washing..it's more a feeling with me. The longer I dont wash..the more stressed I get. I have to wash at least once a day. I've never went a single day without washing since I was maybe around 12yrs old.

It varies but I prefer every other day but sometimes once a day. If not every other day then I just have a sink body wash instead. I only tend to do that when I on holiday though or unmotivated.

If I going to college or if I was working I most likely would each of those days in the morning usually. Then I might not bother at the weekend. I am not ocd about being clean in that way as it feels very nice to not have soup on my skin or sweet smelling tbh. I dont like being sparkly clean constantly but do it more for other people and to rid any odours that would otherwise occur.

I always wash either bath/shower/sink when excercise but usually quite fast as I want to rest.

I always do a basic sink wash at night and meant to in the morning too but sometimes I forget when on holiday.

I bathe every weekday, but only a quick face, pits, groin and teeth wash on the weekend, won't be seeing anyone, so why go to anymore trouble! (IMO)

Well to be fair voodoo, I never mentioned I was going to wash more than twice a day..and I also said my skin..not everybodies. My skin is oily..especially around the t-zone...and im pretty sure showering morning and night is going to improve my skin. Just because tests and experiments have been done..doesnt mean it's correct for every human being.

Usually only every other day, but sometimes more often if I've got hot and sweaty, or if I feel like I'm not clean enough for whatever reason. Not usually more than twice in one day, though.

Once a day, though I don't wash my hair every time as it takes forever to dry and doesn't need washing every day (I am a girl with longish hair though, if I had very short hair or was a guy I'd wash it every time).

That was an interesting article Space Monkey. I was brought up when young to have a bath once a week. Saturday was bath night. I was pretty manky by then I think as I got quite dirty as a kid and wasn't very thorough when washing myself. My mum still has a bath once a week and she doesn't smell. I now shower most mornings and have a bath about every three days when I wash my hair and rinse it under the shower.

I shower twice a week to wash my hair, I can't be bothered doing it more because it takes ages to dry.
I also have baths inbetween when I feel like, to relax.

I think thats right .Even once a week is fine for health .But to smell nice you need to keep up with the people that youre close too as their noses are tuned to the number of showers they have.

I shower most mornings. I'll occasionally skip a day if I'm not doing much and can't be bothered, but if I skip more than one day I start to feel really filthy and uncomfortable. Also my hair is a law unto itself and won't stay under control unless it gets washed every morning (even now I've cut it short )

i shower evrey other day but i have a extra shower if im off out which is rare. i think if i wass in work or had a girlfriend i would shower evreyday but as i dont i dont really get that dirty/sweaty watching tv, surfing the net.

Me too. It seems like a long time to go without washing thoroughly now, but at the time I don't think I smelt funky or anything.

I shower every time I have to go out (not very much then ), just because I have extremely problematic hair that has to be freshly washed to look anything near presentable. I normally also have a bath once or twice a week in between the showers.

I'd probably shower everyday if it didn't wreak havoc on my hair and sensitive skin (even with coldish water my skin seems to want to flare up all red and blotchy). Although I do usually find showering exhausting because of the trouble I have to go through to dry and straighten my hair afterwards, it does refresh me and make me feel much more awake once it's done.
