^ I laid bubblewrap on my landing recently, left over from ebaying. Every time I go to the loo in the middle of the night I forget and I cheer myself up with some pop pop pop. Its the small things in life that make it worth living I find.

^ Its that huge stuff for big boxes.

We once laid an entire floor and ran over it in wheeled office chairs. Obviously it ended in tears but it was fun until we started playing 2 player.

You can get battery powered keyring electric bubble wrap too, it seemed like a good idea but that was a very long christmas day once my dad opened that I can tell you.

This evening I was driving home and saw two schoolboys walking home, I think they must have been brothers. The youngest was carrying a big bag, he looked tiny, the older brother took his bag off him and started carrying it probably because it was heavy. I thought it was a very kind of him.

^ every 50 presses it made a fart instead. My dad is getting on a bit and this seemed like a good reason to keep on going until the next fart, and then the next, and then..... you get the idea.

Tough day for flumpsy.

A few weeks ago while on holiday, I got upset over something trivial. Then my partner, comforting me and mentioned the M word. Gave me butterflies in my tummy .Never thought the M word would give me butterflies .

Then my partner, comforting me and mentioned Margaret Thatcher. Gave me butterflies in my tummy.

Then my partner, comforting me and mentioned mustard. Gave me butterflies in my tummy.

Then my partner, comforting me and mentioned myrmecology. Gave me butterflies in my tummy.

Then my partner, comforting me and mentioned massive dinghies. Gave me butterflies in my tummy.

Got to be one of these.

My money's on 'Minotaurs'. Nothing like a minotaur to get one's tummy a-fluttering.

I have a mate called Bennie who is in love with a minotaur, but it wasn't meant to be. How could the love between a minotaur and a clown ever survive in this judgemental society?

^Yeah, but I suppose it's hard when you're the matriarch of a mob family to allow your kids to be who they are and not try and force them to follow the mob path. Sad, really.

Ajax is right. Don't panic everyone, it wasn't a proposal as such , I'm not worthy of being married to someone lol

^ You know a couple of days later I thought that the m-word might be marriage rather than mustard. Seems obvious now but honestly didn't cross my mind at the time. Margaret Thatcher doesn't give you butterflies in your tummy?

Thatcher does many things to my tummy, but butterflies ain't one of them.

@Vienna. If the Rumster were to propose officially, would you say yes?

You can answer here. It's private and he'll never see this. Honest!

Ah, yes. I'm with you on the whole wedding day fuss, thing. To be honest, that aspect puts me off too. Mind you, my partner has already been married once and if we got married she would rather us just do it on a beach in the Caribbean without any fuss at all. I could go for that. Maybe you and the Rumster could get married at the peak of Cat Bells in the Lakes or something like that. No fuss, just you two and a few passing hikers as witnesses.

Chatting with my daughter. She said something, I replied by saying "Why?", then she said "You don't say 'Why', you say 'Pardon'."

That the two stray cats that my Mum's been feeding are going to be re-homed. I was so worried that they'd end up somewhere that puts stray cats to sleep. We found somewhere that will look after them even if no one will adopt them. I felt so bad that we couldn't take them in but we have too many pets. I think I'll still cry and be worried when they go though.
