Nice! Wish I had the time to do something like this.

Which play are you in? (Don't worry if you'd rather not say!)

Moving. It should be happening by around February, but could be sooner. It's ridiculous how much I'm looking forward to having stairs and an upstairs window to look out of.

All being well I'll be going to a Christmas carol concert at Manchester Cathedral next week in aid of The Christie, the cancer hospital my mother's in. Should be really nice and I won't feel too guilty about enjoying some Christmassy fun given what it's for.

Seeing my little nieces over the Christmas period. My enthusiasm for Christmas has unsurprisingly waned, but I may enjoy it through their eyes.

I'm looking forward to the older kids I've been working with doing their Christmas play this week.
I was so sick with nerves when I first spent time in their class, but now I've got to know them I really like all of them and they're not as cheeky or as naughty as I thought, in fact they're a lovely bunch of children that all look after each other. I have to do the make-up, which I'm nervous about, but once that's done I'll be able to sit and watch them & it will be lovely. They're doing some songs and a dance, it makes me realise how much I love all that kind of thing & how much SA has stopped me doing anything fun in my own life.

Thank you, kooky monster. The play went really well, I took my own children to watch too & it was hard for me, but it was good.

It's my last day there tomorrow, that's going to be tough as firstly I feel like a failure in not keeping hold of a longer term placement, secondly I am going to miss the kids & thirdly saying goodbye & all that makes me incredibly anxious.

sorry, was supposed to be a positive post!
