7 out of 30. I didn't respond in an extreme way to the first half of the questions, but at the later half I seem to have had an increase into maximum self-judgment.

I'm so glad that Ajax, Dean & Mikei posted their results before mine! However, because the survey in this instance was about self-esteem and not social confidence (although I too feel that the questions are somewhat vague and generic), I don't think my score would have been very much lower if I'd taken it a decade ago - I've always been an arrogant sod!

Anyway, 27/30.

7/30,seems about right. I think it would have been lower if not 0 when I was younger though,so an improvement if not a particularly huge one I guess, still a long way to go obviously

It's encouraging to see that at least a few people on the site are at a point where they feel their self-esteem is better than it was.
I don't take the test that seriously really, but it does point to the improvements I've made over a long time. Funny enough, I don't even see the shift as being massive, although I am well aware of the efforts required to make that shift.

I've not gone from self-hatred to being full of self-love. I just managed to realise that in the scheme of things I'm ok. Could be a lot better, and could be a lot worse. Have some qualities, yet plenty of faults too. I think I just found my middle ground where I don't crush myself because of my faults and I don't think I'm anything special if I manage to get some things right. That sort of leaves me with a more realistic self-view and feeling ok in my own skin.

I find that SA and the lack of confidence and self-esteem that goes with it leads to a very distorted and inaccurate self-view. It is all too easy to see every single fault we have, yet see us oblivious to our qualities. Our reality lies somewhere in between the two. Finding that middle ground, recognising it and building on it can take us a long way towards becoming ok with who we are. I don't think I suddenly developed qualities and banished my faults. I think I just recognised that I (like all of us) have both and always will have. Basically, I realised that you don't have to be perfect to be ok.

I got 4. But there was an optimistic context behind my answers, I feel that should count for something

And I'm not really good at assessing myself anyway, I feel like my score is probably higher than 4 honestly. There's always more to it than simply agree or disagree that doesn't get taken into account. Or maybe I'm just not good at these tests

I forgot I'd taken this & just did it again, I scored 9 & when I looked back through the thread saw that when I took it before I got 13, which shows I feel even worse about myself straight after work. If I took it during work I imagine I'd get 0.

Lower than I thought it'd be. I'm quite ok with who I am as a person these days, but I don't feel I've achieved much professionally which is what I had in mind when taking it.

Got 0/30. Thought I must've been exaggerating to get a perfect 0. Tried again but this time being a bit kinder to myself. 2/30.
