I haven't watched anything in years, I've lost all interest in it.

^well they say there's only seven different stories, so I must have seen all of them by now. But yeah, the constant "rebooting" of franchises that don't need it is part of it; Hollywood is creatively banckrupt. But mainly I just have little enthusiasm for being emotionally manipulated by imaginary events any more.

I doubt my tastes have changed that much but my attention span has which is a shame.
I was fortunate to be a teenager when you could watch moviedrome or Film on 4 classics like 'Rita,Sue and Bob too' alongside prime time showings of Mike Leigh and Ken Loach films.

I used to wacth a lot of subtilted films like Betty Blue and Festen and I remember the excitment of finally having someone to show my favourite Hungarian film to but I wonder if i'd find it slow now.
I wacthed Les Yeux Sans Visage and les diaboliques for the first time last year but I rarely watch films now.

Film was a huge love of mine when younger;I had a book in which i'd write what i'd seen that week alongside a rating out of 5 stars

I am open to different genres but I can't abide action films. I once watched a Jason Statham film but if asked again i'd have to say 'i'd do anything for love but I won't do that ' .

I find I have a lot of pleasure in watching films from the 1930s, 1940s, and '50s, and those starring the Hollywood "greats" - the era of Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Rita Hayworth and the many many others who could really act.
And Sean Connery's "Bond" films

I've recently grown fond of Bollywood dramas. I enjoy the lively dancing and singing and the upbeat themes. I need something to make me smile!

One of my favorites: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
