You can also make jam with blackberries which is nice.

Today I stayed in and enjoyed staying in till about 3, then I guess I wanted to go out but avoided going out. Finally went out at 8pm, and found myself a nice new walk. Darkness came so quickly I didn't manage to see whole of it..

Drove to town, had a little bit of a wander but wasn't in the mood. Ate my lunch in the car, went to my dad's care home to pick up some old post, then to a counselling session and drove home to find my neghbour with loud music
Still apart from that It's been quite a good day.

Just been snorkelling in the Mediterranean. Looking for an octopus to film but no luck yet. Took a load of bread in and caused a fish feeding frenzy, though. 🐙🐟🐬🐋

Lol Rebka

Just been out and been to another part of town I live. It's really weird you can live somewhere years and not visit somewhere quite local. Now new cash machine, coop in my local knowledge.

1st day back volunteering at baby/toddler group this s'morning, had hoped it wasn't starting till next Monday, lol, but strangely enjoyed it. Some old faces and some new. Songs and parachute games.
Followed by a boring/sleepy afternoon and probably a night of telly.

I had dinner with a friend I haven't seen for a year. It was nice and certainly made a nice change to have some non-feline company.

Also, the walls/door of the toilets in the restaurant were weirdly reflective so I got to survey myself having a wee from 3 different angles. Not something I've ever had the chance to do before, it must be said.

^ years ago I got lost on Dartmoor in the middle of the night. I thought the hairy hand might get me or I was going to die from exposure or something
Not sure why I'm laughing actually, it was terrifying! I remember all the animals were standing completely still, it was freaky.

^ Yay! Somebody who knows about the hairy hand!
No I wasn't driving, I was wandering through fields and all over the place! Not alone luckily. I know they grab car steering wheels usually but I thought we might make a fun change of victim for it as there were no cars about.

Don't get lost on moors, there's far worse than hairy hands. Stuff like bogs, and adders for a start.
I did a midnight walk on Dartmoor, it was maybe most terrifying thing I've done, and I was with a group. The idea that you can hear a fast river next to you and not be able to see it is not good.

(Fishermans trust do yearly midnight walk. Year I went, I was the only lone Joe. I handled that OK till having to join with everyone else at the end)

I was watching the urban equivalent of a woodpecker the morning for about an hour on my outside camera.

A drunk punching and headbutting the bus stop. His hands were pretty all decorated with his own blood. Then he had a nap, isnt nature a wonderful thing.
