Had coffee with the lovely kafkafan. Got hit on by some guy on the next table when she went to the loo - never have I seen someone recoil in horror and regret their decision as fast as he did when I told him I have 5 cats He then just could not get his head around giving kittens to animal sanctuaries for people to adopt as opposed to selling them for profit, thus I concluded that he was a prick.

Preparing all this! Food sorted for the next 7 days or so.

Took about 4 hours to do everything including the shopping and cleaning up.

^ I am in awe of your patience and organisation, Dean.

Looks very yummy and healthy and for I'll be feeling inspired to do the same until it comes to the actual doing, and then I'll just make Super Noodles.

Ta very much, guys!

It does all actually taste better than it looks, but I'm glad you didn't think it didn't look too bad either

Yeah, it's mainly about the efficiency of it though, i.e., consistent, healthy food throughout the week and with minimal effort. I truly do hope this inspires you, Kooky! Even if it takes you a few months to finally getting around to doing it (and getting bored of the taste of Super Noodles)

The answer is simple; I don't mind them

I do get why you or others wouldn't like them though. Earthy, crunchy, the texture is bland and fibrous (especially the stem, if you're gnarly enough to eat that).

The prep before this one didn't have any actually, I just thought I'd add something a little extra this time.

Hah! Yes, correct

They are actually the most decent ones out of my collection, going to have to buy some more. My others are flimsy and can actually pop off if put under only medium strain which makes them a logistical nightmare.

Siiiiiiiiiigh..

This is supposed to be the 21st century, I wasn't born when I was born to have to use my "hands"

Tesco, get your act together, I say.

I guess I'll make a bowl of soapy water then and give them a dunk, scrub, rinse and dry. That should do the trick.

So far I've done most of the washing ( there's no room to hang the last lot so that will have to wait) I've done most of the housework and I've made spag Bol for dinner later.
I still need to wash my hair, do my makeup, send an email and leave some reviews.
God my days are so exciting

Wow that looks amazing, just one question though, if that is your downhill bike what do you use to get up the hill?

Dean that looks great, wish I could be so organised.

@everyone, Cheers y'all

@Blushing, I hope you get around to trying it some time! If that is your concern I'd recommend maybe starting out with only foods that can technically be eaten raw (e.g., some kind of vegetable recipe), that way it's difficult to really go wrong. Then when you get more confident maybe start trying things that have to be cooked. Other than that, the general rule is let the food cool down completely to room temperature before fridge/freezing them (and generally the life of the food is [fridge = 3 or so days] and [freezer = months] but this is again, very general and can differ depending on what food you're doing so just do a bit of quick Google research if unsure about anything.

@biscuits, yes ma'am! I'd love to see your house, I bet it's adorned with cute kitten related things and whatnot (well, that's how I imagine it anyway and I bet I'm not wrong ). I'll have to take a souvenir as payment

Went to the park.

Did 3,334 steps visiting every single bit of the park including the dog area, kiddie area (even though I had my paedo cardigan on), weed benches, the hardcore drug area and the polski high strength lager benches.

Saw a a squirrel

Grabbed his nuts

Home to bed

Today...? The same as always - working. I'm only online now (during works time ) because I've got a free 20 minutes or so...! I'm literally sitting here, at my desk, tapping my fingers, clock-watching.

Today has been a heck of a drag and I've still got an hour and a half to go until I finish... Why has it been a drag? Well, today I finish until next Thursday (28th) as I desperately need time off. I'm also heading off to Devon for a long weekend. I just need to get away from it all for a few days...

I'm sure most of you can relate to this, but the final week or two before you're due to go away somewhere is the 'Great Holiday Countdown Slowdown'! Every day seems to double in length.

Tomorrow I'll be getting my hair cut, packing my bags and giving the car a wash ready for the drive down there on Friday...

well I just had to scuttle up a hill. Turns out eating an exclusively fat meal at lunch has a devastating effect on the digestive system.
