My first SASH Self Help Meeting

Today I went to my first Social Anxiety self help group. Tbh, it wasn't fully what I expected, but you know what they say if you don't seek you don't find.
A few women cried as they talked in the group and in the group generally the topic was on how to deal with Social Anxiety. It was interesting listening to what others had to say. I didn't speak that much and didn't feel I was much a part of the group.
I might go to the group again or might not, but I know I have to do something if I want to help myself. There is another Social Anxiety self help group, from what I can see, that I can attend. I might go there next week to see what Social Anxiety group is most suitable for me.
I don't know if some of the things I felt in the group are mainly my problem or understandable from the outside. I felt some of the people in group thought I was dumb, but then again I have felt this in a lot of places work lots of different people.
And then, I know it's petty but I disagreed with a few things I'm not discussing here. I know disagreement is a part of life though.
Overall, the group was alright, but I don't know if I would stick with it. Or if it's the best type of group for me. At least it got the ball rolling.
Although I didn't have the best time of my life in the group I enjoyed party of my journey home and am more satisfied with the fact I didn't spend my whole evening in my bedroom.
