A change of attitude towards work

Earlier this week I felt bad about going to my job and felt like quitting, especially as my boss had offered me an apprenticeship when I wasn't really interested in the job.
Towards the end of the week however, I had a change of attitude towards my job. I think it's because I began to realise that it wasn't by force that I had to like my job and that it's pretty normal to start off with a job you don't like. I know this sounds like common sense lol. I have to search for what I want to do in my spare time though.
I notice that when I feel negative and overthink I become less productive most of the time, it seems ironic though as it's things that seem important that are most likely to make me feel negative. So I guess acting on negative feelings and thoughts is a no,no for me. I don't see negative feelings and thought as something to ignore, but I guess negative thought require me to use some rational thinking. Same can go for positive thoughts in certain situations.
When I had the change of mindset towards my job I was also a little less worn out from work and had less brain fog.
From this experience it seems best to be honest with myself. And being honest doesn't mean being bad, selfish or ungrateful; although it does mean not being able to please others every time.
