I dont know how or why but life these days, well... I would prefer to be gently paddling down that merry stream, carefree and languid in dappled sunlight, dangling one hand in the calm, cool waters.

Tender? More like tenderised. My father was a chef and I recall seeing him bash at steaks in the restaurant kitchen. A wooden mallet, with 'teeth'.

That's how I'm feeling today, like I've been tenderised with a steak mallet.

It's probably all postive and maybe time will grant me the wise perspective of how well I've done. But in this moment I'm feeling overwrought and overstimulated.

Can scarcely believe I just tapped that title. But reflecting on the past week; somehow, that is exactlyI what happened.

There's a huge outward facing rush of energy in the community as spring is officially celebrated. Call it Beltane or May Day; the ceremonies taking place in town are very important and meaningful to me. In the sense of being a barometer for how I am doing, the extent to which I feel able to observe/participate.
