Fear Hierarchy

While reading about therapy for anxiety I keep coming across fear hierarchy lists. Basically these are lists of things you avoid in order of terror and anxiety. You can even have separate ones for fear of being the centre of attention, fear of public speaking and fear of speaking to certain people like attractive ones. I could probably do 57 lists, however I thought I would do one and combine them.

Motivationally Challenged

I wonder how you get motivated when you are lying in the gutter. I just don’t understand. A lot of life is shit and loads of people have jobs they hate which causes them never ending stress and anxiety so the concept that everyone can have a great rewarding career is not true for most people and of course virtually impossible past a certain age. It would also require huge motivation.

When you see many of these self help Youtube videos and read the books they often have this HUGE...

More on Loneliness

[B][I]Colleagues and family members of the murdered Labour MP Jo Cox have launched a campaign to tackle loneliness.Mrs Cox had started work on the cross-party campaign before she was killed in her constituency last year.The commission, in her memory, will work with 13 charities including Age UK and Action for Children to come up with ideas for change.They will provide findings as part of monthly campaigns on people such as new mums, carers and the elderly.[/I][/B]
