Out of the junk wagon

Its been quite awhile since I posted on here, if I recall it was on newyears.
Its been 2 weeks since jumped out of junk wagon and counting my calories to a healthier me. I feel so much happier, its now a lifestyle and not just a crappy diet.
Im not sure why the others failed, but I have a good feeling that this one is going to succeed

The Good Samaritan (my day today)

I had to assess him first.

He didn't look like a drug addict, his clothes didn't look dirty or tattered, his shoes weren't worn, only his face - no the expression on his face - ached with poverty.

"Hey bruv' can you help me please?"

He had intercepted me near the entrance of a coveted guilty pleasure.

"I need to eat but I don't have any money can you spare some change?"

And that's when I had to...

Time Dead

There's no greater crime
Than the waste of time

Guilty, I should be ashamed really
Squandered auspicious youth so freely

But anxiety is a cemented tomb
Buried alive inside for certain doom

Sunny hours pregnant with chance
Float and fleet by with no romance

Dreams unbreathed, jokes untold
Sights unseen, love unknown

Pain of the omissive life I've led
Makes me want to stop time dead...

The Chair

The chair was about a hundred pounds. Synthetic leather sure, but it's not less impressive for it. It's imposing, five star-shaped silver legs poke out beneath, the curvaceous armrests are padded, the back is con-caved but has a gentle protrusion where the small of it's masters back would be; and it waits there beckoning, like a mischievous uncle inviting me onto its soft lap.

Amongst it's functionalities of tilt, swivel, head rest and adjustable height I paid scant attention to what...

January blues

I always feel like im stuck in a timewarp or something, January goes soo slow, I miss all the festivitiy, the food and the family, knowing the UK were going to have rain for the next 3 months
