and the six month ban on changing usernames (once you've changed it) is not working either. i have seen a sharp increase in old users making new accounts since this rule came about.

I just changed mine because I didn't like it, no idea why it riles some people up. Its only a name change anyway. Jeez!

On the contrary, it's working very well. It's not designed to stop people creating new accounts, it's designed to stop the mods being overwhelmed by constant name change requests.
