New Site Logo: (Absolutely, Definitely) The Final Poll!

As the title says - I promise - this is absolutely, definitely the final poll for the new site logo :)

After counting the votes, we're now left with two final entries - as below - in a head-to-head contest! Please vote for the entry you think should be the new SAUK logo. The outcome of this poll will be final. There will be no opportunities to change votes, so make sure you vote for the right entry first time around.

A big thank you, once again, to all those who took the time to submit an entry, and to all those that voted (again and again and again) :)

The rules haven't changed: one vote per person. Votes made with multiple accounts will be discounted. You may vote for your own entry if you wish. A quick message to those who cheated in our last poll(s) - you really are wasting your time and ours by voting with multiple accounts, because those votes will simply be removed.

The poll will close at midnight next Sunday, so get voting! :d

The rainbow of no1 is cool, but the font isnt cool, especially on the SAuk bit. But the font / style of no2 is awesome.

What we need is some sort of bastardised lovechild of the 2. But until then my vote is for no2, its been my fav since the start, gogogogo! :thumbpur:

It has to be number 2 for me. Its post modern minimalist approach should help to soothe the chaotic neuroses wracked minds of the weary travellers who pass through our doors. And I hate rainbows.

no thats not how it works.

by narrowing it down to the two most popular options, the fairest test is made.

for instance, i voted one, so my opinion of which out one i don't want is ignored - unless the last two are polled together.

i don't want the rainbow logo - i would rather have the other one. this allows me to vote to reflect that.

it's not a waste of time, it's just the mods trying to be as fair as poss, you get it?

its not about the cheat votes, its about allowing people the chance to vote for their choice out of the top two. :smile2:

What started off as a perfectly fun poll seems to have developed into a bit of an obsession, if the extra votes were for the rainbow then fair enough, you won fair and squire and therefore that one should be the winner, no other poll was nessecery.

Or failing that we do what custardcreams said and stick to the current one.

I voted no.1 because I thought the rainbow might make people feel more hopeful somehow, whereas no.2 is very stark. Although I agree that the font is better on no.2 :)
