Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)

My uncle died last night :(
I don’t really know how to process my feelings by myself. I’m sad that he’s died and feel upset. I feel upset in particular for my aunt, who...

Re: Where do you buy your groceries because Morrisons are taking the pish.

I get a few bits that I can’t get from Lidl in tesco and emergency food from Sainsbury’s, which is my nearest mini...

Re: Has anyone else here experienced living as a pariah of their community?

Hi hylas,
Hi Sunrise,

Re: Has anyone else here experienced living as a pariah of their community?

I have experienced being the target of malicious rumours too, but in school, rather than as an adult.
It’s is an absolutely untenable feeling to have to be somewhere on such high alert, waiting for...

Re: Has anyone else here experienced living as a pariah of their community?

I completely empathise Sunrise.
I live in a small village and only cope because I have never interacted with anyone much. I made a point of sending my children to school in a different village so I...

Re: Does anyone have adhd? If so, can you give suggestions?

Just to add, if your sister has a bedroom of her own then it’s definitely reasonable to ask for the living room to be reinstated as a living room.

Re: Does anyone have adhd? If so, can you give suggestions?

Hi Amara,
Adhd is quite complicated in the way it affects rules and routines, and there’s PDA which means even if you politely ask someone to do something it’s much more emotionally draining than it...

Re: The ASD thread (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

I was diagnosed 14 years ago and I don’t work but still didn’t get PIP. It’s not easy to get or to go through the process, it was really humiliating. It even said on my diagnosis that PIP was...
