Was absent mindedly browsing through the members list here (I know, I need to get a life!) and remembering posters that have long since disappeared. I hope they are leading fulfilling SA free lives. I've got a prescription for Escitalopram. The venlafaxine stopped working yonks ago, if in fact it ever did, so I agreed with my Doc that I'll give this ago. I've tried so many pills over the years, that proved to be of no help at all, that I won't hold my breath though. Got to pop out to the chemist to pick them up. That will be fun. Here's hoping in a couple of months from now I'll be a new woman - positive, motivated and raring to go!

I've started escitalopram lately. It knocked me out/made me sleepy for a while to begin with but I do think it has improved me a bit It's not a cure all certainly but I seem to interact with ppl more easily and my mood is more stable.
