reading through this dinosaurs extinction thing led me to think.. if humanity was to go like a sudden mass extinction because of a nature disaster, which one would be a nice/cool way to go?

Why haven't diseases evolved to make you feel good rather than bad?
Imagine a disease that made you feel happy. People would go out of their way to catch it, like a free drug.

^yea just like pain. they say pain is necessary as it works a indicator, etc..

i mean, if one is starting to have a problem with their tooth, wasn't there a less harsh way to let him know something is going wrong with his tooth other than that exaggerating ridiculous pain?!

the idea behind this is that everything seems less scary and less painful when it's happening to everyone at the same time lol

Every time I look at the clock I see the same numbers. either 10:10, 1:11, 2:22, 11:11, pretty eerie.

I’m selling my laptop. I checked its properties and think it was built in 2013. It’s an X230 thinkpad. In good condition, you can do everyday tasks on it, zoom meets, use a DAW, especially when hooked onto an external monitor, and using a multi usb external port. I think it struggles with Photoshop or gaming though. The only thing that needs replacing is the battery. I always use it plugged in.

I haven’t opened up the laptop but it’s probably much more repairable than a modern laptop and built to last compared to many laptops. It’s from 2013 yet still works completely fine for everyday tasks. The webcam is subpar but a phone or external webcam can be used, same goes for microphone and speakers.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126427069183

I haven’t really sold anything before.

^ I own that exact same x230 laptop. It's solid, feels built to last. I hope you get a good price for it.

I just realised it lasts longer than MacBook which may seem long lasting owing to the fact that it’s much more easily repairable. I guess Apple needs this type of competition when it comes to their smartphone.

When my girlfriend had Covid I made absolutely sure I caught it from her, - just to give me some valuable time off work,... that made me kind of happy

^ Hey you're not a loser, no need to be so negative about yourself. People do things in life at different ages, there's no set time frame.

^ your body is in shock over the sudden change in temperature. If you're having a hotter shower/bath. Or going from the cold to a heated room.

This happens to me and that's why I think it happens?

I went to a jewellery shop today and bought a necklace and two rings. When I got home, I took one of the rings out of the gift bag and found a little charm from a charm bracelet all wrapped in tissue at the bottom of the bag! I just googled and they're £50! Not sure why a charm is worth that much!

Anyway, this is a small independent business so I messaged the lady on Instagram to let her know. She's accidentally put it in with my bits and it was meant for someone else! She's going to come to my house to get it!

Gives me anxieties!

Aww, very honest of you. I'm like that too. I once went to use an ATM after a woman, and after she had walked away £100 came out. I went after her and gave her the money. She had forgotten to wait for it and was heading into Asda. She was very grateful. Some people would have walked off with the money for sure.

That was nice of you to tell her, not everyone is honest enough to do that, some people would of kept it as a freebie

most people would rather read Agatha Christie and totally ignore Shakespeare's works.

people's fault? are they dumb?

i don't think so.

i always see giant pandas eating bamboo which doesn't seem to be a good thing. i mean to depend almost entirely on one source of food is not a good thing. what if you weren't able to get that specific food?

on the other hand, we humans have ridiculous various sources of food. i mean cheese alone has so so many types to the point where there are probably 100000 types of cheese you have never heard of., let alone foods we come up with everyday that are heavy on refined sugar. no wonder why most animals don't get cavities/tooth decay unlike us.

I'm just thinking that perhaps giant pandas should go to a nunnery,
Mainly because they are black and white, don't say much and would therefore, probably fit in quite well,
Although they might need to substitute their love of bamboo shutes for a love of Jesus?

the power button of the phone stopped working couple weeks ago and i had to use the volume button to wake the screen. that button stopped working too. the only way to turn the screen on is by plugging the charger into the power, and i keep installing apps that claim they turn the screen on/off, but to no avail.

in modern phones there are a feature that does that by touch without the power button, but definitely my lame phone doesn't have that.
