The fact that we are living in a floating rock in space doesn't surprise me much.
what is driving me crazy is how on earth did I end up being one of those people who are living in a floating rock in space!

How the **** I ended up being a flesh-and-blood human being?

If two people decided to have sex, how the **** I ended up being the product?
What was I doing before they even meet each other?
Where was I in 1923?

Soooooo stressed with work Doing at least 3 different roles at the moment and all of them badly. I do have a decent boss (thank God) who I've just had a one-to-one with but, frankly, I think he's in the same boat

If we've been enslaving animals for our benefit for thousands of years, why it is impossible that other "smarter than us" beings are doing the same thing to us! The put us in a cage hanging in space called "planet earth" and they let us die and rot inside it too.

^ I think if other beings were in control of us they would have stepped in by now, given the damage we're doing to the planet! Either that or they've just decided to step back and leave us to it.

I don't know, Dougella. I suppose if such beings exist, they wouldn't care about "stepping in" unless humanity thought of starting a nuclear war or something. xD

But seriously, human beings are just weird, like, we are really not like the rest of animals on earth, as if at one point in our evolution 'something happened' and changed its course and we ended up being the way we are.

I had an invoice from the vets.

Last time i was there ,few weeks ago, my dog just had a blood test. When i went to pay , it came to £107! Im sure they said it would be about £70. At the time i was going to question it but there were people in the waiting room and i felt awkward so i just paid it and left.

This invoice says on that day i paid for a blood test (which was actually £36) and what looks like a pack of pills at £70! No, i didnt take home a pack of pills, i only had the blood test so lord knows why ive been charged that.

I still owe them £25 for 2 prescriptions. When i was there i did try to pay with my debit card but their debit machine never works properly . So tomorrow i'll have to pop in and pay that , and will also question this £70 they charged me.

It's so crafty. The receptionist said i could pay that £25 'when i come in next' which would be on the 28th march ,my dogs next appointment BUT on the invoice down the bottom it says
'Accounts not settled within 14 days of invoice date may incur a further charge of £40 under the late payment directive'
Funny no one mentioned that to me!
Good job i saw that , cos i was going to pay it when i go in next on the 28th , which would've meant that £40 fine!!

Too many big companies buying up the smaller Vets and putting the prices up. Ours had to have an X-ray and they charged £700 for that and the appointment!

Fookin' heck^^ I thought it was silly money when we last had a dog (summer of 2019) but geez. I'd love another one but it's just financially not viable atm

I'm thinking that I hate teeth, specifically mine

How to get rid of loads of crap I don't need any more (largely old electronics waste though some of it might still be useful to someone)
I don't want to chuck it but cba to individually ebay it or want to deal with the hassle of buyers.
I'd give it all to charity if I thought someone would take it.
Or I'd take it to a car boot sale, but I don't have a car.

^ Some recycling centres have places for electrical equipment. Also check your local library, they often have a recyling point for small electrical items (the one where I am has a wheelie bin with a sign on the top and a list of what they accept )

it is funny the range of jobs. Like one job just now working in a place which makes/sells parts of GUNS. And now another a greenskeeper on a golf course. I'm gonna apply second one but bet they say no.

^ I had to attend my brother's wedding a few years ago, it was quite small so that was good. I went to the ceremony and the meal bit and then went home before the evening party (luckily they understood). I was glad I went though. Are you thinking you'll be able to manage going?

The app that identifies songs is called called Shazam
I didn't realise that Apple now owned them, but surprisingly there is still an Android version too
