I thought I had got rid of my cold but it seems to be back this morning

Very depressed lately. Thoroughly sick of this job, to the point that I almost shed a tear at my desk earlier. Frustrated that I can't speak up and chat with people.

Also tired of hearing about Brexit, and problems around the world in general.

I'm just constantly depressed, anxious, tired, and frustrated.

We are getting some windows replaced but the guy doing them cancelled 2 weeks ago. He is booked in today to do them but my brother ,whos doing all communications with him, hasn't heard from him since friday. He put a window in our downstairs bathroom last year , we asked for a receipt but he never gave one nor for the repair to our wall he did.
We've had scaffolding up for a week ,waiting for this builder to do the windows, he'd better turn up today. My dad said if he doesn't turn up today he'll go bat sht crazy and tell builder he'll take him to court, as hes just pssing about.

My mum is having kittens.
We've checked builder online and he's had good reviews.

My bro texted him on friday just to check he was coming today but had no answer.

I get a feeling he's not going to turn up and all HELL will break loose.

I had to phone on sick today as my back is really playing up... think i'll have to go the docs tomorrow about it... been bothering me for a few weeks now... i went the docs a few weeks back only gave me painkillers so think it could be something more serious then i feared grrr

like i never want to walk round my town again. ive had man in vans etc shout at me before, i dont like it but usually feel ok after. but today a guy on a bike shouted at me saying 'hellooo' which i ignored (what am i supposed to say to that??) then he called me a slut & carried on shouting oi slag down the road, right around the corner from my sons nursery im so scared im going to encounter him again

A bit deflated. The course the s'eve started of alright but I was awful with the skills task (lovely sa to blame). Struggling with feelings of not wanting to go back.

That's bloody awful, no wonder you're scared to go out again after that. I highly doubt you'll see him again though. The kind of degenerate cretins who behave like that only do it when they have the luxury of anonymity or in this case, the ability to race off on his bike if you'd called him out on his dickish behaviour. All these pricks need is prolonged eye contact and they bugger off.

Just to be confusing i'm doing 2 course at the min. The peer mentoring course I've just started and is on a Monday afternoon. The course I was at tonight was Introduction to Counselling which is a bit more intense? (from an sa perspective). They do compliment one another tho. This was session no 5 so there is another 5 sessions to go. You can then chose to move onto the level 2 course in Jan.

But yeah it is difficult when it's kind of forced and the person I did a mock 5 min session with wasn't giving me much to work with so I just panicked and my brain died, lol.

I had one of my usual takeaways and spent most of the night with stomach ache, I'm still not feeling peachy..so I'll probably just have water all day and no food

I think I'll avoid the scales as I've probably put about a months worth of weight loss on too.

I'm feeling pretty good. Surprisingly. I got myself all worked up before going to this bloody Sanctuary Quiz night. I even went round the car park the wrong way
But saw it through. M didn't let me down and had me seated at s's table which was a big relief. I knew no one else at the table but we all got on well and it was a really good laugh. Had a salmon dinner with cheese cake for pud and the 3 and 1/2 hours flew by. Also ran into someone else I know and had a good chin wag with her.

I am relived it went OK, as I've been worrying about it since yesterday. I think the anxiety blip I experienced on Thursday made me think that this eve would be horrendous. Whereas in fact I enjoyed it.
