A little like a certain Greek boulder-bearer but who struggles with pebbles.

Shitting myself. I was told months ago that my kids had to do an assembly in December but not when. Just found out it's on Monday. (Which isn't December but whatevs)
Between now and then I literally have a few hours with them. The assembly has to last 40 minutes. This is going to be fun...
****y **** ****y ****.

Can you stand at the back holding cards for them to read off and also threaten to hurt their parents if they don't read it perfectly and like they mean it?

Just dress the largest kid in a the class in a stars and stripes suit and have all the others kick and mock him/her for being a capitalist pig.

If you also get somebody to bash a gong and have the pianist prodigy, that you obviously have in your class, smash out some banging tunes and the crowd will lose their shit.

I have several prodigies in my class. It would just be too difficult to choose.

I went for an assembly about Christmas ("whaa, you guys give each other presents on Christmas? Really? Wait... what's mistletoe? Kissing? Ewww! Are you married? Do you have a kid? Well he's not a very good husband then is he if he hasn't given you a baby?") around the world. Taught them some Mariah Carey and Slade.

Considering these kids have so much talent at everything they do, it's shocking how bad they are at singing. They sound like a bunch of cats being strangled. You wouldn't imagine people who speak a tonal language could be so... tone deaf.

Still, as far as the actual spoken bits, after a day of practising, they're as good as most classes I've ever had would be after a month of practising. So I guess I can't complain.

I achieved the impossible. Or at least they did. I kinda just sat around. I don't think they even need me.

I feel you're boredom, Miggs.

I'm going to have to go into the city tomorrow and hit up a couple of fast food joints, perv over woman I can't have, try on outdoor clothing I can't afford and buy nothing from the Christmas market.

It's better than sitting here staring at the fekin box.

The Chinese cafe in Brums Indoor Market does them and they are pretty big with plenty of filling.

I bought some frozen ones from the Day In supermarket in Chinatown and they were alright, but the fresh ones in the Indoor Market looked much better.

Feckin' awful. I have a cold. Not so bad, except my colds usually turn into sinus infections. So I feel like I've been punched in the face and I have earache. Meaning I also feel like I've been punched in the ear. At this rate, I'll be heading towards an urgent care centre over the weekend to get me some antibiotics.

If you slap a piece of gammon on your ear it works in a similar way to a piece of steak slapped on a black eye.
