Went outside today and walked around the block. I was shaking and my breathing was shallow but I did it.

Well done AireleeBray when my husband booked his driving test (in his late 30s),he didn't feel ready at all and was very worried. But his instructor said he'd be fine. Don't wait to be 'perfect' to have it.

The plumber came in today to fix the water heater. He was very kind. And I didn't comfort/binge eat after he left. Yay!

Exactly! The test means you're safe to drive on your own, it doesn't mean you must know everything perfectly and be as good as every else straight away

This weekend I went away. It was probably the busiest weekend of my life
I went to a pumpkin patch....it was packed and I kinda wish I didn’t go but still I got out of the car, walked around for a bit, couldn’t pay at the till so went back to the car.
I went to a few shops which were also really busy.
I had a drink in a pub.
Went to the beach.
Went to a nature reserve which was super busy. I had a bit of a panic when suddenly lots of people were on the path I had to veer off track.

So yeah, I’m pleased with that

Not a biggie really, but I went to a small gig in a pub on Friday with a friend and the bassist of one of the bands had a bass guitar with slanted frets and strings of increasing length. I was intrigued by this and by chance he was in the bar afterwards. I managed to summon the confidence to approach him and ask him about his bass. He seemed very receptive and we had a pleasant short chat.

Just had a really long chat with a friend of mine in the pub without feeling much anxiety (1-on-1 conversations are usually hard for me)
It even turned out we were both in the same halls of residence at the same uni at the same time. Quite an odd coincidence!

I bought an ipad for an online friend as I get discount (she's paying me back), met up with her on my way home from work (she lives 5 mins from me) and handed it over without puking on her.

That's what I was thinking. She's very nice, vegan, a very creative type suffers from anxiety and lives 5 mins from me. Pretty much ideal, so it will never last

Repaired a series of big patches in my garage wall when I got home from work,
Just done it in time before the darkness and dodgy weather closed in,
Had done a lot of work over the summer, but that was one final job I'd overlooked,
A neighbour even said it looked like a really good job as she passed by
