I don't mind it when it's between 20-26 - in fact lower 20s is the sweet spot. It's the constant anticipation of sweltering heatwaves that really bothers me.

Anyway, going by the forecast, it's lower 20s here through til the following weekend

It’s sweltering at the moment! Well in the South West. Lower 20s, that’s something.

Just had a look at: https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/map

Midlands suffering with high 20s, Norfolk side of Britain suffering high 20s, London at 30.
Wales low 20s, Ireland low 20s. A place in Scotland 14C.....

I must admit the weather has been such a struggle the last few days and to be honest there are some sights that I dont want to relive... like looking at my naked body!!

I think in this country we see the sun so rarely that we kind of look forward to it so much but then hate it when it arrives.
I want to live in a warmer climate though

And tonight! I love it.

Sunny, warm days and snuggly, chilly nights. Perfect.

RIGHT, I want confessions

Which one of you turned the rain on and got me wet? The quicker you confess the easier it'll be on you.

I can't stop sneezing and my ears feel all blocked. Is this hayfever? Why are my ears playing up so much yesterday and today. Humidity? Does that effect sinuses?

^ that's what's happening - the constant popping. Is it constant for you?

I'm going to use my nasal spray to see if that helps. Perhaps not if it's humidity! Haha I'm thinking if it's hay fever.

My votes on humidity. It was horrendous here earlier after the storm had passed, very oppressive.

No rain here we had a downpour yesterday but not for long at all. There's wasn't a storm either.

I'm hoping it doesn't rain today because I'm going to an outdoor Italian festival.

@Nanu and Rocket - yes I think you're brother right - humidity rather than hay feves

I had rain pouring inside my house from above a window frame last night There are lots of trees nearby and I forgot to get the gutters cleaned out last year like I usually do, so I think it's a combination of leaf blockage and the volume and speed with which the rain was falling... it was pouring over the top of the gutter and then back towards the wall and running down it. Someone is coming to have a look tomorrow morning, but it sounds like it's going to rain again before then

Just had a nice young man come and give my gutter a good blasting, he says it should be as good as new

Thankfully it's going to be raining for the next few weeks to test it.
