Thank you anxiouslondoner for explaining how to share this link! I hope it works
Please feel free to look in. I wanted to create a discord group that was very gentle and inclusive. There are different channels, like general chat and interests such as music or food. There's also places to have more serious discussion and also channels for well-being.

I deleted the app because I didn't know how to turn off the notifications, so will rejoin.

(I like getting the notifications because it reminds me to join in, but I needed my phone at doctors and was trying to stop the notifications getting in the way of my fingers.)

How do you turn off the notifications when you need to?

Look for the joy and it will always outweigh the faff, TDP. Plus faff becomes no-faff after practise!

Like I was saying I really like getting the notifications because it reminds me to jump in, but in the moment it was quicker to delete the app.

^ for an entire server, right click the server icon, notification settings, nothing.
for individual channels, select the channel and click the bell icon at the top right, select what notifications you want.
