Now the World Cup has finished I may have to resort to watching the 5 or 6 Come Dine episodes I have stacked up on Sky+

I don't know why I like it so much, a bit like my craving for cereal cocktails in the evenings

I am loving season 3 of TrueBlood. Its proving to be much better than season 2; less vibrating women and a lot more vampire politics .

Totally agree, more time spend on the Vampire world makes this season so much better. Still think there's too many storylines going on inc. Sam and his family but they have to have as it's in the books i guess.

Was watching the One Show earlier, very weird TV!

My favourite bit was when Gaby Logan asked the girl from Gavin and Stacy whether she was a fan of pearl necklaces

Currently, an American show called Leverage. I don't think it's as good as Hustle (perhaps it's because it's so OTT sometimes), but it's pretty decent. It'll keep me occupied until the next series of The Good Wife starts airing I think.

I've started watching ESPN's 30 for 30 series of documentaries.

http://30for30.espn.com/

They're on the ESPN sports channel, so require a subscription, but the idea is for 30 filmmakers to document a particular sporting event or period from the last 30 years. It's an American theme, so quite a few of these revolve around US sports, but I watched one called The Two Escobars last night, which was about the Columbian football player who was killed for scoring an own-goal in the 1994 world cup.

The ones I've seen have all been excellent though. Well worth investigating if you're into that kind of thing.
