That the boiler manufacturer "Vaillant" isn't "Valiant".

I've been calling it "Valiant" for years

That diesel nozzles are too big to fit in an unleaded tank - as I realised yesterday when I almost filled my car with diesel. Zoiks!

...on that subject,. I am quite interested in self-charging electric vehicles,
I think they're all hybrid self-charging, but I have a bit of experience of charging electric vehicles and it's a lot less reliable and a lot more of an inconvenient fafff than you'd ever imagine,
I just can't quite see plug-in charging as the future somehow?
purely from a practical logistical point of view.
self-charging,. presumably from some form of dynamo action would seem much more appealing.

Water based satin paint doesn't adhere well to old spirt based gloss paint even if you rub it down.

Also that Zinsser 123 Bulls Eye Primer is flipping expensive.

Now Kimchi style noodles and bean sprouts in bed and have a nap.

Personally I think Zinsser is traditionally for professional use by trades as a stain block, and, if you are painting over very different colours, (I e., from dark to light, or visa-versa)

I think the point probably is that in the trades the hourly rate is often higher than the paint cost so it's really all about saving labour time and keeping the cost down (of physically applying several coats)

If it's just for domestic use it's probably unnecessary,
and yes, prohibitively expensive,

Just a standard basic primer should suffice, but maybe more coats?
you can get primers to suit your colour base, to help.

Zinsser / Bulls eye, is good stuff though,

^ Thanks. I've painted most of my living room gloss paintwork with Johnsons Acrylic Satin paint without a great deal of issue, other than one or two small spots, however painting some cupboard doors found it flaking off pretty badly so I had to sand it down quite 'aggressively'. I've never had this problem before and could do without it now, you know health reasons?

I've cancelled an order (hopefully) of Zinsser from Amazon and may look for a cheaper alternative. Well peeved...

you just need a basic wood undercoat as a primer layer and then a coat of gloss.
should do the trick.

That International Women's Day was originally planned to be the 6th of March but it took them so long to get ready it was moved to the 8th.
