Cleaning Venetian blinds

It's been a while so i'm having to do it in two parts: dust then clean. If i had kept on top of things with dusting them every now and then they wouldn't need so much attention, but there you go.

Lol, i bought this in the shop the other day to help..



Took me a while before i got to thinking about taking the cloth part off and then wearing it like a finger glove ... puppet thing. It wasn't long before i thought i may as well use actual cotton gloves. Suppose i'll be looking for a specialised cleaning glove later on...

There's something about fresh stationary that's really soothing to me. I don't know if it's an OCD thing, but unused sheets of stickers like those, new school exercise books, pencils with clean rubbers and immaculate tips...

It's a shame I have no use for them. I need to feel like I have some use for things, but if I used them it'd spoil the neatness!

The 1930s version is good, I remember being impressed what they achieved. there's also a 1979 version with John-Boy Walton in it.
