I think I should buy a mask. I wonder if I'd feel more confident underneath one. Actually really considering getting one, if just to look at myself in the mirror with.

It's messed up but I guess emotional pain really does get to me more than physical pain.

Earlier today I had some relatives come to visit. My Mom and my Auntie spent at least five minutes talking about some christmas tree lights that were too bright. Apparently it was rude of me to say out loud that there was no reason for that conversation to last more than a minute and that I couldn't stand it any longer before grabbing my crutches and slowly walking out of the room but seriously, if I'd have stayed my brain would have started seeping through my ears.
I guess so, but it just seems like you're still really bitter about it, and it was okay for you to be bitter about, but it's been such a long time. It really shouldn't be bothering you that much at this point.

My dog had this and at first I thought it was cataracts but it was odd how both eyes went kind of bluish. Took him to the vet and it turns out to have been a minor infection that, with antibiotics, cleared up in a day. Worth a try if you are not sure.

Realising that going to University to study computing when I've done no previous computer studying kind of makes me resent my class mates cos they don't help me, but should they?

They show me their perfect assignments, I'm like 'erm, can you show me how to do that now?'

Trying to go back to basics and understand the context around what the tutors are talking about.

I've had awful acid indigestion since Friday, determined to manage it way beyond Gaviscon. Yet another health issue after developing IBS when I started Uni.

Why is it so hard to make the effort to have a conversation with someone? especially a family member. They wonder why I spend so much time online chatting to people and it's because no one seems to have the time just to sit down and talk or to listen to me talk. Funny how people made more of an effort when I was suicidal but now that I'm not it's back to the bottom of the pile I go.

^ Just a simple "how are you?" would be nice. I'm only really specifically talking about my sister. I know she's busy but I'm important you know? I need her support.

Yep. It's never received well. She's staying at mine tonight but all she's done is turn up at 5pm, sleep for several hours, then go back out again for dinner with friends. She'll be back just before I go to bed (I told her I'd lock her out if she wasn't back before I went to bed ) with no conversation between us to speak of.

Oh why did I pick this time of year to get my car serviced. Goodbye 430 pounds, it's not like I ever needed you.

On the plus side my car now has fully working brakes, so it could be worse.

I just watched a video on YouTube explaining the surgery that I got so I'm thinking about someone banging a giant nail into my legs with a big hammer, and probably will be all night.

This is really wrong, right?

When he started kinda swaggering towards the stage singing, I thought "wow, he's left his piss sack behind" *facepalms* (Disclaimer: that's a bo selecta phrase, not my personal turn of phrase)

But yeah, I really liked him. Kinda begs the question why his career fizzled out? Was it a Terence Trent D'Arby thang (ie I'm the best of everything) and everyone got sick of him? Did people think he spent his days like his character in Bo selecta? Maybe he just had s lot of stuff to do for like, 13 years? I still listen to his old stuff now and again. Hope he's back again.

Whether to take on a more stressful position at work next year. It's not that much extra pay but it'd look good on the cv and we are already planning the next place we wanna live after here and have some ideas of places that won't be particularly easy to get jobs in so it may be worth it. Maybe.
