Thanks guys I’m trying to keep going but it’s such a struggle I have a really strong notion that I won’t be here for my birthday in August, I had a familiar feeling that my mom wasn’t going to make it much past her 65 birthday and she didn’t, it’s really weird sometimes.

had a really bad night last night but I'm going to try and be positive today and have a good day even though there's constant noise and drama here! hard being in a acute ward.

Having really bad urges to self harm today the tablets seem to be making me much worse and on Wednesday I’m out of them again, my doctor keeps ringing out, fancy only giving me 7 days.

^ Did you say before the doctor had said to phone on Tuesday? Maybe try doing things to keep your hands busy, like knitting if you feel like it. The thoughts are just thoughts, you don't have to act on them.

^^ I must call him tomorrow to order some more, I'm feeling better now though I went to see my neighbour and I peeled her an orange and made her some tea.

In a bad way cut my arm again nothing serious just needed a release from the stress, life is awful and I dont have the courage to face it without my mom and my dads completely gone mad ive spoken to some helplines they agree he needs help, I just want to cut again because when I feel pain it releases me from my troubles

^ Don't take the pain out on yourself Be careful, keep the cuts clean and put plasters on them if you need to.

^^ Unfortunately cutting will only offer a short temporary release from the emotional pain and there's always the worry that a cut could become seriously infected and you're need medical assistance. I really hope that you can find a way to resist the urge to hurt yourself. I've heard that some people hold an ice cube in their hand until the feeling passes.

You've been doing so well coping with the worst situation imaginable and I know you're strong enough to get through this. Also, the world needs lovely people like you who look out for their elderly neighbours and support people on a mental health forum even though they're suffering so much themselves.
