I'm going to be honest with you Limey, my skill level isn't that great. So much so, that if I was a wine grape, then it is you who would be doing all of the stomping right now. There was a time when I used to play a lot of bullet chess. Where my skill level wasn't too shabby. Probably in the 1500 range. Then I decided to start playing 10 minute chess games. It was then that my derriere was handed to me on a regular basis. I then decided to compete with players with a 1200'ish rating. But again, my derriere was constantly being handed back to me. At which point, I decided to swallow my pride (not literally of course) and compete with players in the bowels of the chess rating world. We are talking in the range of 800'ish here Limey. And I have to say, I barely had any derriere left at that point

Struggling a bit with a whats the point attitude today. There isn't a great deal for me to do here this week, going by the diary. Things do tend to pop up though so see how it goes. It does make me doubt and think that Winter is gonna be difficult here

Somehow just passed the online test for a job I am applying to.

The strange bit is that the test was really hard and I ended up sort of giving up/making my best guess/staring out of the window at the neighbour's cat/seeing how long I could hold the pen in my mouth with just my upper lip.

It was so hard that I decided to cut my losses and submit my answers, assuming I need to do some more studying before I apply to another job like that. (I'm trying to career change).

But yeah, apparently I've passed and I can't help but feel that either I'm a very good guesser or their online test isn't fit for purpose.
