Normally if I'm sat next to someone and they're making a noise whilst eating I find it really annoying.

I know a few of their names now so I always tell them hello, that they're good boys/girls, always tell

The way I see it now is that...because of the anxiety it will take me longer to get things done, cos I'll overthink and stress and imagine the worse.

And when those things are done, it will take me longer to recover, because of the shame I feel, the cringe and self-loathing.

But I'll get there eventually.

I have no choice anyway. I have to live with my anxiety. It's not going away.

You'd think so, wouldn't you,
I can see right through people who do almost nothing, but constantly talk about work, or about anything really,
They just talk very loudly about really obvious things that anyone could say,
I've no idea why management don't see right through these people?

I've never really been a talker at work,
Because I know talk is cheap and doesn't get anything done.

I've observed this odd phenomenon all through my working career,
To me, there's a time for talking and a time for getting on with things,
And these people really just talk, and rarely do,
Oddly enough, loads of people just seem oblivious of these types,
I can spot them a mile away,..
I'm afraid I have no respect for this kind of person,
The negative impact they have on the workplace is what gets me,
If we all pulled together, we can make workplaces much better places to be,
But, alas, the lazy slackers always drag things down,
But, bizarrely enough, always seem to inexplicably please the bosses, by merely talking a good game.

I heard a true story like that,
A trainee kitchen hand on a ship was tasked with making breakfast for the 140 hands on deck, the head chef said "put a fork in those sausages, to allow them to cook properly "
When they opened the oven after 20 minutes, they saw about 200 sausages,.. each one had a fork stuck in it,
