Well sometimes it's from stourbridge, Kidderminster or worcester, Great Malvern or Hereford, but yes it's on the same line.

Last time I got off at Snow Hill but it's quicker to walk from Moor street.

I'm getting closer to finding out where you live now.

Sending someone a birthday card who hasn't spoken to me for about 4 months.

I haven't been able to play it yet either. You can link the game to your Google account or create a Pokemon account. I don't want to link my Google account but the Nintendo site is swamped and won't let me register.

Nintendo gave me so much joy as a kid, teen and young adult, but contributed to my social issues.

**** pickachu and his possy, and **** Shigeru Miyamoto as well tbh.

Wish I'd met one of those smoking hot and cute gaming nerd wenches that never existed back then, and spent many a year playing video games and destroying her in Street Fighter 2 and Mario Kart, and playing with her and destroying her too.

Watching Interstellar and drinking Stella.

'Tis my final night in this house tonight, so I'm making the most of it. Going to be sad leaving it behind.

I remember people raving about that and just finding it to be another average horror.

Hoping that i lose my (delivery) round.

I've been warned that i may lose it if i don't find cover. Who would give up the best part of their Saturday to deliver for a pittance Also, not knowing the round - it would take ages!

It's 'the couriers responsibility to arrange cover', especially now that they've ditched agency cover/workers. Which is the problem, really. Although, because of my withdraw from society, i know few people to call upon, i think even 'norms' would have trouble finding cover.... surely.

Well, they'll be losing a good courier if they do get rid of me. My attendance has been excellent and i rarely bother the field managers with a complaint (and trust me, there's lot's to complain about!)

Meh

They're very unreasonable.

Yeah, it's not very appealing, which is what i told them. I know it's not saying much, but i don't know anyone who is out of work or that desperate for money. Even if i had 100's of contacts i still think i'd struggle to get cover.

^ They are expecting way too much of you, it sounds awfully unfair, Rocket spud. I would be very tempted to tell them to shove their parcels where the sun don't shine, accept I realise that probably might get you the sack which probably wouldn't be such a good career move

I came close to offering them my resignation yesterday, the FM (field manager) was really arsey. She started on about how it's the responsibility of the courier to have cover in such events, how it's irresponsible not to have any, that i need to keep phoning around, blah blah ... i cut her off mid-rant by saying, " .. well, the bad news is that i'll probably be taking tomorrow (today) off too.. "

I spoke to a different FM today and she was just as bad, kept warning me about losing my round, etc. I told her about the food poisoning and the diarrhoea and that i wouldn't be able to leave home. She said, "well, you sound fine" Just. .. wtf. I actually chuckled and said, "trust me, i'm not feeling well".

It's an appalling company, just from personal experience i can tell you an awful lot. They have an online forum and there's so much more, it does make you wonder

The field managers are scum - most are anyway - it's a role that suits a certain type of person.

I wanted out of this job ages ago, but circumstances what they are, it's the only thing i feel able to do (i.e. keep on keeping on).

I went down to check on the cat in the garden shed (long story) and there was another cat in there with her. So I said "hello cats" through the window........ then realised the neighbours who have been out in their garden a lot today could probably hear me, doh

I've been caught having a full blown convo's with myself a couple of times when hiking.

When it's a bit windy and you think you're alone, trail runners can appear out of no where.

You're like, Hi guy's, shit they heard me.

^^ Hahahha, thanks

Yeah, the jobs far from perfect - as you say, "an annoying job is better than no job if you have anxiety", which hits the nail on the head.

I can beat that! :p Singing loudly to myself - think I've been heard at least twice. Once I think it was 58 men went to mow, went to mow a meadow (long day, got up to about 100 I think before I got too close to a main town).
