hi

hi everyone, i'm gellerbing (yes thats a friends reference lol)

i'm 39 (almost 40) years old, from wales and love all things crafty, as well as penpalling which i have done since i was 9 years old. oh and i am a teaching assistant in a primary school.

so basically, i don't actually know if i have social anxiety or if its just shyness, but i struggle with conversations in real life, so much that literally nothing comes into my head to talk about which means making friends is difficult because nobody wants to talk to the girl who says next to nothing .......as you can tell speaking online or through text/written im fine though

anyway, i just hoped this would be a place of people who can relate.

Been to Ireland a few times from here too , used to pop over to rosselaire until they increased the prices

Hi crafty Gellerbing! Welcome to SAUK. "literally nothing comes into my head" That happens to me as well, so embarrassing some times. I still can't forget a job interview where I couldn't think of a thing to say when I was asked "tell me about yourself". I wanted to disappear.

I feel your pain, that's happened so many times. My last interview was on zoom so I cheated by sticking post it notes with all my answers around my screen, but got flustered and almost mute when they strayed away from my script . Yet somehow I got the job
