That the editor of 'The Staircase' was having a romantic relationship with the accused Michael Peterson whilst filming the documentary!
It went on during the filming and well beyond until 2017 or there abouts. They didn't put that in the documentary!

Crafty way to get it edited the way you like lol

Also Ron the Private Detective died recently as did Freda Black the scary in your face assistant DA. She ended up an alcoholic working in a laundry, she was only 57

It's quite fascinating to read the level of corruption that has swirled around the town of Durham and the DA office. They need a follow up documentary! lol.

I didn't know any of this! I loved this series, I thought it was fascinating.

Have you heard about the owl theory in relation to how she died?

^ yeah I first watched it as one of the Storyville docs on the BBC. It's now been snapped up by Netflix with the part 2 added and an extra episode or 2? to conclude the story. He has been released, yeah. Tho not found innocent as such.

Yes I have heard the owl theory, can't say I'm overly convinced! Lol.

You should try The Jinx - not on Netflix unfortunately - but it's fab too. Esp the end.

One of my colleagues is 100% convinced by the owl theory, I haven't watched it yet, but she pretty much gave me a power point presentation on why it was owls what done it.

Has he appealed? Been released now?
He served around 8 years in prison before one of the forensics peeps working the case was revealed to have faked a lot of stuff. The case got thrown out then I think. He had the opportunity for a re-trial but didn't take it as he had no faith in the system by that point. In the end he took a deal where he had to plea guilty to manslaughter (even though he is still adamant he is innocent) and he has served his time. So the crime is on his record basically even though he maintains his innocence.

^Oh, for sure. Like I say I haven't even seen the documentary so don't know much about it, definitely not enough to have a theory, but the way she explained it at least was pretty convincing!

I've just googled 'black eyes tree pollen' and found out about allergic shiners..

Quote:
An allergic shiner is a dark discoloration below the eye that is associated with allergic rhinitis. Shiners are caused by the backup and accumulation of blood and other fluids in the infraorbital groove, especially from venous congestion in the nose

How difficult it is to buy a washing machine.

My first choice at Argos has a 35 day delivery wait time, my second choice can't be delivered to where I live (London). ApplianceDirect charge £20 for delivery. Currys do free delivery, but the machines they do at the price I want are not good. AO again have no machines I want at the price I want.

Also quite a few of the washing machines stating 1600RPM are very selective about which programmes and loads you can use the 1600 spin speed on, so although they technically have it, it might only be at the end of a 3 hour 90 degree wass cycle.

All I want to do is buy a washing machine.

I've just discovered a loophole in the space-time continuum. If I go to bed at 6am and wake up at midday, I've had 6 hours sleep (more than I got when I was working full time) yet I still have the whole day plus whole night left to masturbate. It's basically a 14 day week.

Indeed he was and it was dire, luckily the BBC got hold of it and turned it into a decent comedy.

Yes, Yorkshire Tea is good, but not as good as Ringtons, which is made here in Geordieland.

One thing I found out recently is that the big brands alter the blend, depending where in the country it is being sent, so that it works better with the local water.
