Default Which kind of holiday?

As there's no life around here.
What kind of holiday is your preference.

You can't beat a little bit of winter sun,
When it's dark cold and wet here, it's good to get a bit of warmth and sunshine abroad,
It definitely puts a spring in your step.

I can never quite get over how different things can feel for you after just a couple of hours on a plane.

I only tend to travel abroad around the winter months,
Summers here are just fine

that’s a good habit to have, top up on some Vit D and experience longer days than Brit’s short and cold ones and it’s probably quieter to holiday too.

My next trip away is to Malaga with family, to see my sister and nephew.
That's less than a week away.

I've also booked to go to Mallorca in March alone, for a long weekend.

Anywhere really! Personally, I don't like hotel sorts of holidays where you're on a resort in a little bubble. Also I don't like anything all inclusive or a bed and breakfast. Sitting by a pool or sunbathing at the beach isn't my sort of thing either.

A drinking holiday would be a nightmare as I don't like drinking!

I like going to the beach, paddling, playing games, swimming. Also I'm into fossils and looking for them. I like visiting places and exploring. Visiting buildings, gardens, forests.. I like shopping. Somewhere with a variety of things to do and places to see!

I'm not sure really, I haven't been on holiday for years.

A drinking holiday or a Benidorm style beach holiday would be my worst nightmare.

I'd love to go back to Australia one day but I doubt it will ever happen, staying in a chalet or static caravan somewhere and exploring the nearby areas has an appeal to it.

in Australia? are you kidding mate? (takes on Australian lingo)
You'll wake up in bed next to a crocodile, or a huntsman spider abseiling from the wall.

I always thought I'd hate all inclusive then we went to cypris last November. It made a nice change having food cooked for me all week most of the other people were 60 plus and fairly quiet. Going back in April.

I'd like go back to new Zealand again one day but the flights far too long.

We usually go to France and stay on a villa around July August time bit it's getting ridiculously expensive, ferry was around £700 on its own last year. Brits will be using the people smugglers boats if it gets any more expensive.

Ideally a sporty holiday. Hire a bike for the week, exploring the place through cycling, try different watersports, see what all the fuss is about with this surfing thing, climbing stuff, and with the evenings spent enjoying their culture by feasting on the foods they have to offer. To me that's blissful.
