If the high pitched whine of new ev's and trains would be annoying to someone with audio sensory sensitivities. Despite new trains, such as adventra's being noticeably quieter. I can't help but find the constant high pitch for the train sound annoying, like it is sharp and sour or something. I hear it more outside the train. I notice this sound of ev buses if I see them on video as well.

Old vechiles although louder don't always have these harsh tones.

The trains at St Pancras are the squeakiest/screechiest. It really hurts my ears! I had to cover my ears the other day because it was too much.

I thought ‘Life of Pi’ would be a rip off of ‘Cast Away’ but it was beautiful and very touching at times.

^I never watched (cast away). Last American film I watched was also a survival one and I really liked it, like my palms were sweating the whole time.

^ haha, that’s a running joke with a friend of mine, we always call it that now. Just like how Herne Bay will only be called Hernia Bay now.

I think I know the exact platforms you’re talking about! Those underground Thameslink ones? I’m not sure I’ve ever heard a squeak so unbearable!

I'm thinking of eating out of Saint's Pancreas. There should be a mass meetup for the event.

Some of us have been calling it St Pancreas since before most of you youngsters were born (and not Hernia Bay, Tembo, but Hernia Hill, where I lived 1984-86).

The super squeaky Thameslink platforms downstairs are new. At least 10 years old, and the trains are bambinos too. Perhaps they are going through wheeling pains.
