Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
How the recent friendships or acquaintances I’ve had have been uneven relationships. Maybe realistically they are always uneven but it’s meant to almost be even.
How if someone seems to care for me I want it to be and feel genuine. I don’t want the feeling that I think they care for me but signs such as never having a conversation leaves me feeling like I don’t know where I stand with them. |

^ @ minute 4:10 story of my life.
I already learnt about measuring from a past failed experience. The adding lighting tall floor part sparked an idea in my head. It's "budget" that ruins things for me. always has been.lol. I liked some other videos in that channel. |

^ me as well. Watching him it felt frustrating how the only affordable houses for most in London are houseshares so you don’t really get as much freedom to even decorate your house.

How it feels scary to find someone attractive because most times I either feel they are too good for me or won’t like me back. At the same time it feels interesting and addicting to like someone as in find them hot. I think because it seems like an opportunity for change or something.
But I don’t even think I’m ready for a relationship or if I do have one, unless the person understands me and vice versa, it’s guaranteed to be messy and bring out my toxic behaviours and thoughts. So it’s scary. |

I know that led lamps are more efficient and probably less light polluting that the high pressure sodium lamps but I notice how they just light up spots whereas the older lamps diffuse light more and the tone feels more relaxing.

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
Really feel I’ve almost given up now. Have felt particularly low the last few months. Have absolutely no hope for the future, when I think about it. I just do the bare minimum and hope for the best.
Ok, maybe not as bad as that sounds. I don’t feel massively depressed, more just ‘meh’ or ‘it could be worse’. That’s not a particularly bad feeling, but I’d rather be more positive and a bit happier. Like I’ve been telling myself for the past decade or so. |

In times like those it sometimes helps to make a lil or a big change to see if it helps - in terms of finding new opportunities. Change is scary though and comes with risk, but also comes with hope and opportunity. What can we do a little differently? And it's okay if we aren't quite ready, but it's thinking of what we can do to get ready (self help or external support) and being mentally prepared to persevere and/or bounce back if we don't like the change. It's challenging when trying to tame the beast inside (anxiety). Also - you're doing yourself a disservice there by saying you do the bare minimum. You do loads - working when you have SA can be exhausting and a big challenge. You travel all over the place and make time to catch up with friends. Plus you also have been to met up groups. Take a little time to think of all the scary things you try and celebrate that you have that drive in you. |

I was thinking last night about how I really wouldn't mind not having a tongue. It'd be great to just never be expected to speak to anyone again. Couldn't blow raspberries any more, but you can't have everything.
That said, you can talk with keyboards these days, can't you, like what I'm doing at this here very moment. |

I admire your dream, Merritt! I couldn't do without my tongue. What with being attached to it! And the tongue has a lot of uses to it: *flips Merritt over* LUNCH!!!!! Happy Christmas everyone! |

@Tembo - thass okay. Christmas and New Year seems to be an amplifier for these already there feelings. I'm dreading the time when it kicks off for me :/ Although, I've strategically booked a relaxing spa day to try and stave it off haha. Thank you, hope yours was alright. |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
Apple music works perfectly on my iPhone. It use to work well enough, but far from perfect, when I used it through iTunes on my Windows PC. A few months ago my iTunes was messing up so I couldn't be bothered to re download it and instead started using apple music through a browser. It works but can be a pain to use as it doesn't work well with my nord vpn and I always have to find the uk version of apple music to play my music.

Is hot chocolate powder as good as cocoa powder when making chocolate brownies?
Isn't it basically the same thing? |
|
|||
Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^ you could use hot chocolate powder as a substitute for cocoa powder and still end up with brownies because hot chocolate is cocoa powder and sugar and mystery flavours. You will end up with sugary-er brownies though so you might want to use less sugar. Also cocoa powder gives them a richer and darker flavour.
Would they be as a good? Personally, I think not. It would be a mistake (haha not to sound dramatic) because I like the richer flavour. I won a baking competition with vegan brownies once haha. I didn't think I'd stand a chance. It was so embarrassing that I haven't baked since! |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^ thanks B.
The party I was going to bake these for has been cancelled. I could bake and eat them myself... but I think that would go against my new year goal of being fitter and healthier. So I'd better not. |

Sorry that your party was cancelled and the excuse for brownies has now gone. |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^ that's OK. I've had an alternative offer now. But my friend is the current chocolate brownie champion of all time and I don't want to step on her baking toes, so to speak.
