Thumbs up Busting down the SA walls

Hey guys,

Haven't been here for a bit but wanted to share how I'm (finally) fighting back successfully against SA.

1) I did the Lightning Process https://lightningprocess.com/
Not cheap but worth it (I found an experienced practitioner offering the same service for half what you normally pay and she's just as good!)

2) Arlin's SA Masterclass https://aboutsocialanxiety.lpages.co/shop-catalogue/
Less instrumental but still excellent and offers a gentle but structured and measurable approach to busting SA.

Having done the LP and having just about finished the Masterclass, I can say I'm doing great. For example, I recently took the train down to London to meet a foreign penfriend for an unplanned meeting that was purely social. I just had 2 dates and made several dating phone calls. To give another example I the other day walked through a huge, crowded hospital without a shred of anxiety. Next week I tackle (with some confidence) my office Xmas party down in the capital.

Now, I'm not saying I'm suddenly gonna become the life and soul of all parties, or start going on a public lecture tour just yet I am after all, autistic, too. But I can feel the walls of SA are beginning to break down. Much of it is IN THE MIND and much of what isn't can be overcome through planning and support. I simply give fewer f*cks about what people think than I used to.

Good luck in your journeys in beating SA!

Limey

That's fantastic Limey!
I have heard of the Lightening Process quite a lot as a lot of people with long covid have done it. It seems to work very well for people

Best of luck taking advantage of your progress and doing lots more!

Limey's back! Welcome home! And since you've been gone there has been a Limey shaped hole missing in my heart! At least I think it was my heart. But the point being is that it's great to have you back!

It's also great to hear about your progress with SA! I will look into those links that you mentioned. Although at the moment I'm just concentrating on journaling. Which is the closest I'm getting to battling my SA. Whereas you sound like a one man army! Watch out SA Limey is in town! Very impressive. I hope it continues to improve for you.

Clumsy?

Yes, it wasn't easy, but I managed it somehow. Although I think the clucking helped.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words. Hope you're all fine! Yes, the Lightning Process also cured a family member of Long COVID and treated long-term terrible pain in another within a matter of a couple of days. It really is excellent and seems to work for most people.

Clumsy I'll send you a PM soon

This is good news Limey, the Lightening Process stuff looks interesting. I think nervous system stuff is the missing link.

Well done Limey, that's great news

If the lightening process is so successful, particularly for those with long COVID, it's a shame it's not available through the NHS.
