Why does my mum turn the TV up loud and clap to it. The TV can't hear her clap and she can hear the TV fine at normal volume.

Plus the office workers I clean for started after me and finished before me or around the same time as me, this week, yet they make far more than me. I wouldn't wanna be a corporate office worker but I would rather make lots of money using my skills but not working myself to exhaustion than vice versa.
Good to hear you're still working though, even if it's not ideal. It all looks good on the CV and is a stepping stone to something more suitable hopefully.

I'm also very tired, mostly due to the winter. I have a lot more energy during the rest of the year.

Cleaning is nice, I used to work as a cleaner, it's very rewarding work.

How is Santa going to deliver my presents tonight?

Spam tastes like dead corned beef.

Remember that scene in E.T when they find E.T face down in a river and all the colour's gone from his skin, giving him that puckered, pallid look? Spam tastes like what corned beef would taste like if it was left face down in a river.

It tastes like a cross between bacon and an unwashed penis. That's a very accurate description.

You need a magic key instead. It says "dear santa, we don't have a chimney, so please use this magic key" and then you leave outside your front door.

I'm not joking. It's a thing

What a thoroughly unexciting day this has been, nothing on telly, no one to talk to, all there is to do is finish getting pissed.
Roll on Wednesday when I get away from this shit for a few days.

How slow my internet is tonight (it's a dongle to be fair). Like watching paint dry from time to time waiting for pages.

Wondering how many other big celebs/music stars are going to die in 2016, now George Michael has died! I heard the Queen isn't very well, uh oh, 2016 surely can't claim any more victims can it?

They're arguing over who gets to keep a copy of the offending pic. Things'll be back to normal when they realise it's the Internet and they can all have one.

There goes Liz Smith I mean, not really a shock, she was 95, but sad. The Royle Family would be a grim watch this Christmas.

I watched her final episode last week. It was difficult to watch (especially the part where Barbara was choking back tears while brushing Nana's hair), but filled with the loveliest, funniest lines...

Nana (telling Barbara about her dead friend Elsie's daughter, Marian, going out for a meal last Friday with her husband, Lionel) - "And then they both had a crepe"
Barbara - "Well, I'm not surprised, after all they'd eaten"

...

Mary - "What were her last words, Barbara?"

Barbara - "Trevor McDonald."

Mary - "Oh, Barbara. What a fitting tribute to the man."
