Maybe it'll come back tomorrow morning but i'm feeling fairly normal right now.
I had something similar tho it also went into my chest with a nasty cough.

Glad your feeling better tho.

^ Yep, it seems Asthma is pretty rare in cats right? So maybe it is symptoms of something less severe.

Mo, I wanted to ask you. Have you had a health assessment since benefits rolled over to Universal Credit?

I had one last year in Feb, failed scoring zero points, went to mandatory reconsideration and scored 12 (need 15). So went to appeal, luckily universal credit wasn't rolled out in my area till June so I switched to JSA. My appeal was heard just a few weeks ago and I won, so i'm back to ESA.

Do you get DLA or PIP and receive the severe disability premium with your ESA? If so you cannot in any circumstance at the minute be moved over to UC.

Have you got an assessment due then?

Ah glad to hear that Mo it is a complete ball ache!

Well me stupid, thought it would be a good idea to try out work in December. Even with drink not under control! I was asked to leave after 3 weeks! Supposedly I wasn't picking it up quick enough! Not wholly convinced that was the reason but I can be paranoid at times. So I had to start the whole application again.

Anyway, I sent my questionnaire off through an advisor at CAB about 4 weeks ago. Still waiting for a response with information about my assessment date. I missed the last one. Typical of me lol

I didn't really want to apply for PIP but aye, advisor applied for that to! No idea what the disability premium is? But yes I'm currently on Universal Credit.

Oh Blimey!

I have no experience with applying for UC, I think the assessments are similar/the same though. That's great you've applied for PIP, make sure you take someone if you can along to both the assessments though.

You won't get the severe disability premium under Universal Credit, the Tories have decided to cut it. Only if you receive ESA or JSA.

How long shall I expect to hear a response from the date I sent my questionnaire back?

Yeah, i'm a bit worried that it might leave me with a cough. It's really doing the rounds, loads of people in the area i deliver to have had it. Wish i'd had the flu jab now :/

Thanks

I really couldn't say tbh. I thought there was a waiting period of 3 months with UC. Though I could be wrong.

Your receiving money tho aren't you? What I meant was a 3 month waiting period between the beginning of your claim and the medical assessment.

I could be completely wrong though as I have never claimed it.

Yes, I'm on universal credit. I've sent my questionnaire off and just waiting for a response with regard to an assessment date.

I had an initial mental health assessment last week too. I am told that I will be allocated to a care coordinator but they don't know when so that is a waiting game also.

I'm trying to be patient because part of me has the same attitude I had in December where I lose patience with it all and think bugger all this I will just get a job but that ends up biting me in the ass.

That's one of my few pleasures in the week watching Celebrity bake-off, accept some of the real life stories about Cancer sufferers have me blubbling.

I agree that Joe Wilkinson was great on that although I barely knew of him before then (I know I live on a different planet to everyone else ) The posh blonde Chelsea girl was a tad irritating though.

Sandi Toksvig has always been fab, and Noel Fielding has grown on me hugely. However, the week before, Russel Brand (who I couldn't stand at one time) I found equally entertaining. Only he could get away with baking a cake that comprised edible female genitalia and his wife in a birthing pool giving birth

That's great that you got a mental health assessment. They can be difficult sometimes to access. Hope you hear from them soon. Will be good evidence for your universal credit claim too.

Yeah, it's hard waiting, but if you've got the volunteering dog walking starting, that might hopefully give you something else to take your mind off it all.

Unless you watch Cats Does Countdown you're unlikely to have known who Joe Wilkinson was before, I don't think many people do!

I like Sandi and Noel, they're a good team. Russell's came was hilarious!

Just spent 6+ hours trying to install new parts in my 'puter with no success. Went through all the stages of grief, before realising the motherboard and CPU are incompatible. I am not a clever man.

Thinking about the really long list of things i need to do today since i did so little yesterday. I won't die if I don't do them so its tempting to just say ....what the hell and not....but that kinds situation just escalates.

I do think the way the left shut down the views of people they disagree with is very sad especially when they use misrepresentation to do it. The behaviour of the left really is disgusting, they clearly have no shame, however they should be filled with it.
