I dread to think what she's got planned this year as I'm more skint than ever. And don't get me started on Papa Kooks. He tells me what he wants (this year; slippers, calendar and chocs) and in return I get £20 in my card and on top he goes and buys stuff I don't want. This year he planned to get me a mug from the cats but instead he's buying me a onesie (whhhyyy?!). And I realised the other day that he's replaced the bottle of vodka he used to get me every year with a huge box of choccie Brazil nuts. I don't like them either. It's like he's never met me
Maybe you'll have to start dropping some very unsubtle hints of things you do want like, "oh, I really like such and such chocolates I'd love to get some of those for Christmas...."

Feel bad that after a live chat with esure about motor insurance I said "thanks that's been great, I'll be giving 5 stars on the post chat feedback!"
Only to discover that the feedback questionnaire scores out of 10.

I'm sure she'll have understood my intention but still..

All these idiots in America either protesting against Biden's win or celebrating it are definitely going to be doing a great job of spreading Coronavirus.

They're not idiots for protesting against it. There's overwhelming evidence that this is literally the biggest electoral fraud in US history. It's the duty of any US citizen who even remotely cares about the electoral process being fair to rise up and protest about this. I'm sure, however, that many don't care about that, and only care about their guy winning. Extremely short-sighted and incredibly stupid IMHO.

^^ No, there isn't overwhelming evidence or the Republicans would be challenging the result legally, and they're not apart from Trump, who is whinging as usual.

Ever since I started these meds I've been dreaming alot. I actually see what you mean. Even if I have bad dreams I still prefer dreaming rather than not dreaming at all which is what it was like before the meds.

There's a start, a middle and an end.

I don't want to hear any alternatives.

How everything would have been different if I'd had a girlfriend back in the day. I was too self-hating and purposeless to allow that to happen. I could have got a girlfriend instantly upon arrival at university. I say instantly; things were moving at a glacial pace, and the whole situation was very ambiguous. That didn't happen because of reasons. It's funny to think of. And by funny, it makes me want to stab myself. I should have properly gone for it back when I still had my looks (such as they were) and my youthful joie de vivre. Most importantly, it would have forced me to deal with my shit. That's what I'm most upset about. Ack, I really played myself.

I hurt my big toe over a week ago, it's gone a bit funny... it's all pink and swollen and I keep getting this build up of liquid under the toenail ... I should probably see a doctor about it... but won't, because I'm so avoidant.
(Sorry for TMI)

I get a lot of those moments of remembering idiotic decisions I made or just situations I handled terribly. They are so wounding. I can totally relate to the feeling of wanting to stab yourself
