As an example, currently I want to buy a new bike; I've looked in a few shops and can't find one I like. I could get one online but I'd want to test it first to see that it suits me.
I could order one and get them to send it to a shop a few days later where I get to try it out. But *avoidance*.

I get this too. I worry that I'll make the wrong choice or that I'll regret it. Also it feels so awkward to go to all the trouble and then say, "nah, I'll leave it."

Hopefully you can find a stockist of the bike you like. I saw a gorgeous red one the other day, but I already have a bike so I can't just buy a new one because it's beautiful and my old one is not. Can I?

Making decisions is what I fail at. I think for too long and just can't decide. Then fret and worry. I just need someone to make decisions for me.

I don't think that choosing a new bike is really an easy thing to do! its quite an investment and I don't cycle but I know those that do probably have a whole list of requirements!

I know that when I buy things I spend forever too! Its just natural to not want to make a mistake so don't worry too much.

Using the machines at the gym. I've been going to the gym for six months and I still haven't been able to go on the machines!

Getting a haircut since no people speak more than hairdressers. I do it myself since i learned to cut my hair regularly so short with hair clippers in 5 minutes or less.

The hairdresser I go to have silent service. It's fantastic. But actually it's also a bit awkward and makes me want to shout willies or something to fill the silence.

I'm due my 2 yearly eye test in October, and I definitely need new glasses this time, even if their is no change, these ones are 4 years old and getting past it.

I'm struggling to feel well rested even after a good night of sleep. I think I went to bed too late because it was too noisy outside to attempt to sleep and for some reason going to sleep late makes me tired the next day even if I had enough sleep.

^ I'm often in a pub on my own, and I tend to go during weekday afternoons, as they are usually very quiet. Even Sat and Sun can be quiet if you go near opening time.
Unless its a Wetherspoons. They seem to be full of drunks from when they open in the morning.

Except that I might need to call someone, but then I expect them to answer and I get upset if they don't and I have to try multiple times because its like psyching yourself up every single time!!), but I still hate it and more often than not do not answer.
