Default Social tariffs for utility bills and financial support for those on low incomes.

The Warm Home Discount.

This is a scheme where people can get £150 paid towards their energy bills to their energy company during the winter if they are on a low income. Some people get this automatically but it can be worth checking if you qualify.

Watersure scheme and social tariffs for water bills.

These are available for people on low incomes and people on benefits. You need to contact your water company to find out if you're eligible.

Social tariffs for broadband.

For people on Universal Credit or a number of other benefits many companies offer social tariffs for broadband which are cheaper than regular packages. If your current provider offers a social tariff it is usually free to switch and you won't be charged for leaving at any time if your circumstances change.
