Default Handwriting

How good is yours? Mine is poor to very poor especially if writing quickly. I am a poor and somewhat laborious/slow writer.
I was made to have handwriting lessons when I was 11-12 but it resulted in little,if any, improvement .

I'm going to blow my own trumpet here. I have lovely handwriting I have several different styles, and some are neater than others, but I'm a complete perfectionist, so my handwriting is ace

I'm the same as biscuits the pen/pencil and even the paper/surface makes a difference to my writing.

Basically the softer things are the better my writing is. For instance writing in a 3B pencil my handwriting is significantly better than a HB. Writing in ink is better than a bic biro.
You'd sometimes think my hand writing is written by different ppl at different times not sure what a handwriting analyst would make of that

I'd say mine is average. It isn't shit, as in completely and utterly unreadable, but it isn't great either.

Thank gawd for the keyboard!

I was showing left handed traits as a child, but my damn teacher had this mantra 'You write with your right hand, and what's left is your left'. I came along and ruined that so she made me write with my right hand.

As a result my handwriting is awful. I mean I can write, and pretty quickly (part of my job is taking minutes so I have to) but I am the only person who can understand it. I often write words with the middle letters the wrong way around - something to do with actually being left handed I am sure! I do everything else left handed.

I tried to teach myself to write left handed once, when I was about 19, but I just couldn't do it, I think it was too late!

I would say my handwriting is average if I really try though then it can look quite neat and I have a couple of different writing styles.

I've ripped pages out of notebooks because either something I have written was messy or I spelt things wrong, so I guess I can be a bit of a perfectionist too

Omg I have literally just ripped up my "to do list" for tomorrow because it was messy and I have just rewrote it as I feel if it's wrote neater I will be more likely to complete my tasks
Plus it just looks so much better :/

Handwriting is awful. Often people can't read it. I've always valued being able to write quickly more than writing neatly so I never really practised writing nicely. If i make an effort to write neatly it hurts my hand.

My handwriting is fast but poor, even at school I would write in my own shorthand and type it up at home on my trusty Brother portable manual typewriter. Later on I progressed to one of the early electric word possessor's, and now we have the computer what a Godsend.

I was always taught to hold it between my thumb and index fingers while its sort of resting on the middle finger. I hold it too tight though so I've had a lump on the side of my middle finger since I was about 5 years old.

Most of the time it's poor but then I get these strange instances where I will write quite neatly then I wonder why I can't write that way all the time.

Mine is beyond awful.

Despite it being an almost irrelevant skill theses days, for some reason I still have a hankering to get lessons to improve it.

My handwriting can look somewhat legible if I take the time to write things, but when I take notes, they look like scribbles that barely even I can understand.
