Nervous. Got really big plans this weekend (way too ambitious for me, really) and on top of worrying that I won't get all panicky and freak out, it's hard to fight the feeling that I'm not really deserving and I don't belong. Feel like I'm doing something bad somehow.

Was absent mindedly browsing through the members list here (I know, I need to get a life!) and remembering posters that have long since disappeared. I hope they are leading fulfilling SA free lives. But, there were a few that I know have sadly since passed away. That thought has made me feel so incredibly sad

I really need to get out more and start living!!


I've got a prescription for Escitalopram. The venlafaxine stopped working yonks ago, if in fact it ever did, so I agreed with my Doc that I'll give this ago. I've tried so many pills over the years, that proved to be of no help at all, that I won't hold my breath though. Got to pop out to the chemist to pick them up. That will be fun. Here's hoping in a couple of months from now I'll be a new woman - positive, motivated and raring to go!

I've started escitalopram lately. It knocked me out/made me sleepy for a while to begin with but I do think it has improved me a bit It's not a cure all certainly but I seem to interact with ppl more easily and my mood is more stable.

^ Propranolol has helped me massively I had a near miss the other day (pulled out on), didn't even feel a tingle (If someone doesn't make a joke out of that I'm going to be disappointed)

Not good. I haven't worked for the past two weeks. I had to give up my temporary job because I was finding it hard to deal with people and socialise which was a shame because I had very good feedback from the company about my work and the staff were lovely. The flashbacks have returned again in relation to bad experiences I've had in the past so I've got some unresolved issues to deal with. I've had panic attacks which were particularly bad from last Saturday to Tuesday. Things have improved in the past few days.
