Yeah, horrible stuff. It went hand in hand with the generalised anxiety period of my 20s, both of which 'died off' around the same same. **** that period. I think it's because i'm feeling a bit generally anxious now that maybe i've slipped back into mode.

Oww, poor kitty! I hope she'll be feeling better very soon. Syd and Nancy send all their healing purrs 😺😺

Same here, it started when I was going through a highly anxious time in my life that lingered around for longer than I expected. F*** that period, indeed. Sorry to hear you're going through a tough time. We're all here for you to support you through it.

Thanks. No, not really. I've been on unstable ground for over 2 years - since the family home was sold, basically. I'm now jobless ...and reality is crushing me.

^ :[ do you think when the job situation gets sorted that it will be the beginning of things starting to get a little bit more bearable?

you should come and live with me! We could eat potatoes every day. You'd have to BYOB though (bring your own bath).

Aw, sounds pretty swell! I do enjoy potatoes, so we've got that going. Bath? Not bed .. ? ......

It will only get better once i've got a job and settled in. Getting a job is all well and good but if it turns out that i'm not suited in one way or another then i'll be back to square one.

Yeah, feeling settled in a job seems like it will be the thing that starts everything else falling back nicely into place. Uncertainty is really difficult to cope with. Having a little stability will do wonders

How High speed trains noticeably seem to have a shorter shelf life than other trains. I think the oldest trains operating in the UK are actually Bakerloo Lines 1972 tube stock. London doesn't always buy new trains.

Whether to buy a replacement screen for my old phone and attempt to fit it myself.
Videos on YouTube make it look straight forward enough although rather fiddly and I can get a new screen for less than half of what the local repair shop quoted.

^ can you get it online and delivered to your home? Would that be less of a faff?

The fellas in B&M carried the three bags of compost that I bought the other day to the car for me. I didn't even have to ask. They're really good in there for stuff like that.

Still wondering what my life would be like if I took the opportunity to go to university in The Netherlands back in 2011. Who knows, I could have ended up living there, and get a European passport. I certainly don’t think the ‘grass is greener’ but I’d much rather be living in an EU country, and a country that’s less of a basket-case than this one currently.

I was far more anxious then and less interested in travelling abroad then.

The staff at B&M are excellent for that type of thing

Kind of reminds me of my struggle with anxiety and possibly undiagnosed autism. Especially around 16 minutes.

It feels like giving into suffering or accepting that it’s there reduces the pain of it. If I accepted my self and my flaws is almost like my anxiety wouldn’t be an issue I’m imagining. Why does it sound so simple but then difficult to put to practice.

Pollen season has begone. My eyes have been watery each morning for a week or so, but especially today. I'm not sure how that works though as all my windows are closed over night. The bedroom window is only open ajar during the day.

They do say about pollen collecting in hair and i did go for a long walk yesterday evening. Perhaps my very short hair is very good at trapping pollen... ? Perhaps i should have showered before bed. Maybe this is another valid reason people wash their bedding weekly.... ?

Yeah I notice my hay fever. Last year when I was doing keto it must have lessened my hay fever. I also noticeably felt less mucus in my nose and mouth in keto. It makes me reconsider doing keto.

^ On the day of the funeral will that be day 7 of her testing positive? You could ask if she wouldn't mind wearing a mask and sitting at the back during the funeral, just as a precaution.

^^ Lovely and tidy!

^ Sounds like a good compromise, she can then decide how she feels afterwards and if she wants to stay and talk to people or leave early.

By the way, bit random, but do you remember we spoke to each other over the phone once years ago? The reason I mention it is cos it recently popped into my head randomly, and I was all like, oh yeah that actually happened.
